Where it Began

Socktopus is a family owned and operated business and was founded by real-life sock obsessives and certified socksperts, Nick and Josie. 

After years designing and selling socks for other people, they realised something big: socks don’t have to be boring background extras. They can be loud, proud, funny, nostalgic, weird (in a good way) and confidence-boosting. 

So in 2021, Socktopus was born, not just to cover feet, but to start conversations, lift moods and cause ankle based eruptions of joy! 

What We Stand For

We built Socktopus on four ideas we simply won’t compromise on:

🌈 Inclusivity – No gender labels, no rules on who can wear what. If you have feet, you’re invited.
🤝 Community – From bold extroverts to quiet collectors, everyone’s part of the sock crew.
💛 Giving Back – Our Socks for Good range supports charities with every pair sold. If your feet feel good, your heart will too.

What We Do

Born by the Brighton seaside (where individuality is basically a local sport), we design socks with personality. Expect humour, cultural nods, unexpected animals doing unexpected things, bold colour combos and slogans that say what you’re thinking (but might be afraid to say outloud!)

Our socks are durable, comfy and designed for everyday wear, because your best socks shouldn’t only come out at Christmas. 

No plastic hooks, no gender boxes, just seriously good socks for humans of all styles, ages and general levels of chaos.

Where We’re Going

What started as a sock daydream has turned into multiple stores, a growing community and more designs than we ever expected. We’re always expanding, always adding more characters to the socktoverse and always putting Socktopus socks on more feet across the UK (and beyond).
